Quick Assist is a Windows support feature allowing remote screen-sharing over the internet
- uses encrypted HTTPS port TCP 443
- helper must be signed into a Microsoft account
- helper generates a passcode to provide to sharer
- included as part of Windows 10 feature updates

Alternative to Microsoft Remote Assistant
Weakness
Both Remote Assistance and Quick Assist do not allow tasks that require UAC consent in default configuration.
- to enable:
- disable Secure Desktop feature of UAC
- or, UAC notifications need to be turned off or set to lower level
- Weakens security of system
