Input-Process-Output-Storage (IPOS) Model
- describes the four main functions of a computer system
- Input: a requirement from the environment
- Process: a computation based on the requirement
- Output: a provision for the environment
- Storage: uses storage for the input and output elements, as well as for keeping the results of the calculations during the processing.
