Rogue Access Point is a wireless access point that has been installed on a secured network without any authorization from the network administrator.

Example
- Hacker brings a rogue access point to a coffee shop that was pre-configured with a similar, but not the same, SSID as the coffee shop wifi
- When people join it thinking its the coffee shop, then the hacker then listens in on the communication
Evil Twin AP
Evil Twin Access Point a malicious wireless AP that advertises the same SSID as a legitimate AP to trick users into connecting to it.
