Printing Preferences

• Preferences dialog sets the default print job options
  • the type and orientation of paper or whether to print in color or black and white
  • settings can also be changed on a per-job basis
    • selecting the Properties button in the application’s Print dialog
• alternatively, printer may come with management software that you can use to change settings

Paper Quality

• Paper/Quality tab allows you to choose:
  • the type of paper stock (size and type) to use
  • whether to use an economy or draft mode to preserve ink/toner
• Color tab to select between color and grayscale printing

Finishing

• Finishing tab lets you select output options
  •  whether to print on both sides of the paper (duplex)
  • print multiple images per sheet
  • print in portrait or landscape orientation
