Fuzzers are tools that look for completely unexpected problems through a process called fuzz testing.
- concept of fuzzing was developed by Barton Miller in 1980s
- popular tool among security researchers
How it Works
- work by bombarding applications with all manner of data and inputs from a wide variety of sources, in the hope that you can cause the application to fail or perform unexpected behavior
