A good accomplishment entry answers three things:
What was the situation or task? — brief context
What did YOU specifically do? — your action, not the team’s
What was the result? — quantified whenever possible
Weak: “Helped improve the incident response process”
Strong: “Rewrote the phishing triage playbook, reducing average analyst response time from 45 min to 12 min”Push for a number. Exact is best, approximate is fine, directional (“reduced”, “grew”, “eliminated”) is the minimum.
